President

As PTA President you'll be the fearless leader of our den, guiding the pack (aka the PTA) to support our school, students and staff. This role is perfect for someone who is part organizer, part cheerleader and 100% passionate about making Forest View the best it can be.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Pack - Chair PTA meetings, set agendas and keep the team on track
  • Rally the Troops - inspire and motivate your friends, parents, teachers and volunteers to join the PTA and participate in events
  • Keep the Den in Order - Work with the Executive Board to plan and execute events, fundraisers and initiatives that benefit our school
  • Be the Voice of the Pack - Serve as the main liaison between the PTA and school administration, ensuring everyone is on the same page
  • Stay Foxy - Represent the PTA with enthusiasm, creativity and a sense of humor (fox puns encouraged)

Vice President

Are you ready to be the right-hand fox to our fearless Pack Leader? As the PTA VP, you'll be the ultimate team player, supporting the President and helping lead the charge to make Forest View the best it can be. This role is perfect for someone who's organized, creative, enthusiastic and ready to step up when needed. Think of yourself as the fox who keeps the pack running smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wingman (or Wingfox) - Assist the PTA President in planning, organizing and executing PTA events, fundraisers and initiatives
  • Step Up When Needed - Fill in for the President when they're unavailable - because every pack needs a strong backup leader
  • Keep the Pack Connected - Help communicate with parents, teachers and volunteers to ensure everyone is in the loop
  • Event Extraordinaire - Take the lead on specific events or projects coordinating between the volunteers who run the events and the PTA Executive Board
  • Support the Den - work closely with the Executive Board to brainstorm ideas, solve challenges and keep everything running smoothly.

Treasurer

Are you a numbers whiz with a knack for keeping things organized? As the PTA Treasurere you'll be the financial mastermind of the pack, ensuring our funds are managed wisely and transparently. The role is perfect for someone who loves spreadsheets, budgets and making sure every penny goes toward supporting Forest View! If you're the fox who keeps the den's finances in tip-top shape, this is the role for you!

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Master of the Money - Manage the PTA's budget, track income and expenses and keep our financial records accurate and up to date
  • Budget Builder - work with the Executive Board to create and maintain an annual budget that supports our goals and initiatives
  • Report Guru - Prepare and present financial reports at PTA meetings so everyone knows where the funds are going
  • Compliance Fox - Ensure everything is on the up and up and that we comply with all financial regulations (don't worry, we will train you!), including filing necessary tax forms.

Secretary

Are you a detail-oriented fox with a talent for keeping things organized and on record? Do you love capturing photos at parties and events? As the PTA Secretary you'll be the offical note-take and record-keeper of the pack, ensuring that all PTA meetings and communications are as smooth as a fox's tail. This role is perfect for someone who loves organization and keeping the team together. If you're ready to be the fox behind the scenes, this is the role for you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meeting Maven - attend all PTA general meetings (3-4 per school year) and take detailed, accurate minutes to document discussions, decisions and action items
  • Record Keeper - maintain and organize PTA records including meeting minutes, bylaws and important documents
  • Communication Fox - work with President, Vice President and Parent Volunteers to prepare and distribute PTA communications
  • Stay in the Loop - Ensure that all PTA members are informed and up to date on important decisions and events.

Vice President of Community Involvement

Are you the social butterfly of the fox den? As the VP of Community Involvement, you'll be the friendly face that brings our Forest View families together. From helping plan events, to organizing giveback nights, to fostering connections and plugging people in, you'll help create a strong, supportive community where everyone feels like part of the pack. This role is perfect for someone who loves organizing fun activities, meeting new people and spreading school spirit. If you're ready to be the fox keeps our den connected, this role is for you!

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Bridge Builder - Foster relationships between parents, teachers and the community to strengthen our Forest View family
  • Volunteer Wrangler - help recruit and organize volunteers for events and activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Spirit Spreader - promote school spirit and encourage participation in PTA events and initiatives
  • Support the Pack - work closely with the Executive Board to align community involvement efforts with PTA goals.

Vice President of Fundraising

Are you a creative, goal-oriented fox with a knack for rallying the pack? As the VP of Fundraising, you'll be the mastermind behind the PTA's efforts to raise the funds that make all our amazing programs and events possible. This role is perfect for someone who loves brainstorming new ideas, organizing exciting fundraisers and inspiring others to support our school. If you're ready to be the fox who fuels the den's dreams, this is the role for you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising Guru - Help plan, organize and oversee the PTA fundraising efforts in conjunction with the Executive Board's goals
  • Goal Setter - work with the Executive Board to set fundraising goals and develop strategies to meet (or exceed!) them
  • Event Planner Extraordinaire -  Coordinate fundraising events that are not only successful but also fun and engaging to the Forest View community
  • Inspire the Pack - motivate parents, teachers and students to participate in fundraising efforts and show their school spirit
  • Money Manager - Track fundraising income and expenses and work closely with the Treasurer to ensure funds are handled responsibly
  • Community Connector - build relationships with local businesses and sponsors to secure donations and partnerships
